Episode 600

Wow! Is it 600 already? What a journey. Who would have thought the podcast would last that long back in the days? No big deal this time, though. Just the realization of an idea I carried along for quite some time. A special with music from soundtracks. But, of course, not that I pick my favourite movie composers for syndae. And there are quite some great ones, like John Williams, Howard Shore, Tan Dun, Blake Neely, Michael Nyman, and many more. No, with exception of the first, all of them have their roots in electronic music. So go on and pick your movie position and listen in to great tracks by Hans Zimmer & Steve Mazzaro (Army of Thieves), Thorsten Quaeschning (Cargo), Thilo Rex (The Dominoe Principle), Klaus Schulze (Angst), Christopher Franke (Babylon 5 Vol. 1), Vangelis (Blade Runner), Tangerine Dream (Great Wall of China), Michael Stearns (Baraka), Paul Haslinger (Underworld), Jean-Michel Jarre (Oxygène).
