Think out of the box, that's one often repeated Creed. So tonight comes some music out of the box, as the artists on this edition don't let boundaries of genres stop them. And rightly so. I am often looking for ideas and sounds which broaden my imagination. I bet, I am still to conservative about it, but I hope you find some inspiration in these tracks as well. On the playlist are Bogtrotter (Immersion), Nearfield (G5), Abjective (Balance me), Noston (Solve Et Goacula), WaterMelonDead (The Globe), and Nunun (Inner).
Putting up a podcast on music is not really a complex issue. One simply listens to several dozens of releases and tracks, picks those which seem interesting to your listeners, looks up some information on and about the artists, and compiles a show of 30 minutes length. Well, one must accept that not all releases fit to the show, some may really hurt ones ears or mind, which may be a matter of taste and use as well. So the actual issue is that it takes quite some time to find music that makes an edition worth listening. Some of them become wonderful for the individual listener, some not so much. I hope you will find tonight's show worth listening, because I always do and especially tonight. Brand new tracks and some tracks I just got aware of. A great mix to my ears, but decide for yourself. And I promise, it will be totally different in sound next time, and again. If you read all this text, thank you! Put on your headphones or start your stereo and listen to these fantastic tracks by moonbooter (Schwarzmond), Risingson (Predestination), Armen Miran & Hraach, In Vitro (El Hombre Libre), Edvoo Mood (Microscopic / Compilation), and Bicho Raro (The Path / Compilation).
It's cool man! Oh, actually, it is. Somewhat below zero Celsius. Not a quantum of snow at my place, though, rather sunshine and blue sky. So, it's still cool, as is the music for tonight's show. There are still several new releases blooming at his time of year. But as it happened I also like to look back, far back... or not so far? It's a greeting from the year 2000 I have for you on tonight's show. And, as mentioned, some new and coming stuff, too. Have a wonderful evening with tracks by Jim Ottaway (Timeless e-Motion), Frank Specht (Sebastian im Traum), Richard Devine (Fields), Steve Roach (Spiral Revelation), 4T Thieves (Details), and Sequential Dreams (The Exodus Wave).
We are back in time. Yes! Well, not in the past, in the present still. But tonight's the night, Friday night. Spot on to find the latest edition of syndae. And we start into the new year with hot new stuff as well. Also, the calendar for ambient and electronic music events is already quite full, really promising and busy year 2017 will be. Like the tracks of this show, with music by David Wright & Carys (Prophecy), Narcose (Panda Eyes), Min-Y-Llan (Sectioned v6.0), Marque and Reprisal and Nomadic Jurassic (Fields), and Stefan Erbe (The Freedom of Movement).
Welcome to the end. The end of 2016. At least regarding syndae's podcast, where you will get the final episode for this year. I am a bit in holiday mood, or maybe vacation mood, so tonight the music ranges from solemnly to happy chilling. And we have quite a bunch of tracks on the list. So grab your headphones, snuggle in and enjoy a nice one hour ride. Hope you don't mind me talking in between all the music by Weingarten-Charlton (Where there is Light), Martin Neuhold & Wolfgang Gsell (Winter), Matthew Stewart (A World Bathed in Sunlight), Stefan Erbe (The Freedom of Movement), David Roa (Seamphonik & Ocho Noches), Psicodreamics (Christmas Elixir), Jim Ottaway (Timeless e-Motion), Alessio Bargiacchi & Floating Spirits (Sectioned V6.0), Arcade Summer (Fastlane Fox EP), Alerick Project (Midnight Radio Compilation 77), and Tetarise (Playing in the Glow).
Our garden is still sprinkled with piles of leaves, although autumn is nearly gone over here. Frosty nights do their parts in ending this colorful time. What I love about it, is the peacefulness, going towards the final quarter of the lifecycle which in a last effort blooms up for ones eye. Well, duh, not that I am in the least romantic. Just like the view. And there is an equivalent in music, which is quiet as well, ambient in general. So here it comes, to please your mind and ears, in form of tracks by I.N.Kh.E. (Solstice), Owann (Eternal Return), Weingarten-Charlton (Where There is Light), Spiral Vremeni & Pleroma Orchestra (Point: Cape Fligely. Part 2. Night), DigitalSimplyWorld (Sounds of Autumn), Øystein Jørgensen (Midnight Radio Compilation 77), Lingua Lustra (Slow Time), and Markus Reuter (Live in Pomona 2016).
It's Advent season for some religions. Fairy lights and illuminated stars sprout up out of nowhere, surely to fight the darker time of the year. What does this mean for syndae? Well, it means more great and melodic music treats are up for your listening pleasure. Tonight, I have a regular one hour full of such music, so take your time, join me for some really cool stuff presented in form of tracks by 4T Thieves (The Black Sea & The Digital Lagoon), Matthew Stewart (A World Bathed in Sunlight), Mind.Divided (Midnight Radio Compilation 76), Ashterra and Keiss & Lwpss (Tunguska EMS - Point: BTA), Janne Hanhisuanto (Sleepless), Tony Byrne, MTA Lab (Synthetica), Lee Williams, Shaping Mind, Miriam Christina, Lutz Thuns (Friends of Ambient 18), and Aleks Michalski (Interplay).
A festival of new material, that's what one could call this edition of syndae. Many of the albums you will hear from are right time for christmas season, if you celebrate it and make gifts. If not, well, you can still make gifts to yourself and others by getting hold of one or more of these albums and those still to come. Howsoever, of one thing I am sure, all the music you hear on syndae is a gift to someones ears and mind. And I am grateful for all those artists putting their inspirations to sound. Like the ones on this show, who are Stefan Erbe (The Freedom of Movement), Jean-Michel Jarre (Oxygene 3), Pete Ardron (Unexpected Pleasures), Glenn Main (Tribute to Jean-Michel Jarre), Johan Tronestam (Arthur Went Above the Clouds), WellenVorm (Petrified Forest), and Michael Brückner (Trois Briques).
Here I am, up for some fun to clear my mind of the miserable and cold weather. Hence, beats are up, ladies and gentlemen, with some nice rides back to the 1980s, well, sound wise, as the tracks are all current and modern. And while the leaves are dropping fast in the northern hemisphere, tonight's show brings lots of sun-beams along, having exciting pieces by Stan Dart (Hometown Memories), Arcade Summer (Fastlane Fox EP), Dave Dinosour (The Lost Demo Collection), Deadlife (Hear the Living Dead / Compilation), DigitalSlumberParty (Midnight Radio Compilation 75), Dynatron (The Rigel Axiom), PanzerJagerV (The Primordial Dystopia), and Plumegeist (Ghoul Jacker).
