Episodes

Anyone in the mood for the festive season? I am not, so on this edition of syndae you will get quite some noisemakers, all of them part of the fascinating species of electronic musicians. One never knows, what is behind a new name, until the sound hits your ear and ensnares you.

It could have been such a nice and quiet evening, if you weren't going for this podcast episode. Simply let me know, if you dared to sit silently while listening to tonight's guitarish artists, presenting a colorful basket filled with progressive and rocking tracks.

Days are still getting shorter for some weeks, building a perfect scenery for rather ambient electronica, even with some tickle to it, that is not straight forward background music but that slight experimental touch making the sound so special. While one can listen to ambient music in the background most of the times, you really shouldn't do with tonight's show. Listen closely and discover all the fine details presented within.

Three, two, one, aural fun. And if you join me and others next Saturday in Dortmund, you will get visual fun as well at the Raumzeit Festival. And if you are in Belgium at B-Wave, I wish you lots of fun, too. So many events to choose from at the moment, one could wish to have a split personality visiting each and all of them. Well, I cannot split, so I'll be in Dortmund that day. And, of course, some more teasing music tonight, where I tried to pick some quieter tracks for exciting your finer senses.

Come and feel some electronic heart beats tonight, providing some aural information on upcoming festivals and concerts as well as fresh tracks from syndae regulars. Fall really is the time for events, as we just had E-Live in Oirschot which was a great success, and the upcoming B-Wave festival in Belgium. But there are more and smaller events worth visiting, like the return of Raumzeit Festival and a concert by Sine Amplitude. And, surely, B/K/S is up for their Liquid Sound participation.

Amazing times with electronic music, events and releases hunting each other. Great to see the genre so alive and well, and we have a number of fresh publications on tonight's show as well.

What's up with me lately, as I seem to have a liability to beatful music? Well, it just seems right to have something to push oneself. And I am not gonna stop tonight, which also provides the chance to introduce the forthcoming album of Jean-Michel Jarre (Electronica 1) to you, dear listeners.

Everyone will agree that the sun is a massive big ball of energy, right? And for mid fall I just got a high dose of sun this week. So where to put it? Well, best to share it. That's what I'll hopefully do with tonight's edition. Many new releases coming up in autumn preparing us and lighting up the way for winter. Ok, well, at least for the northern hemisphere that is. For the others, use all the energy to power your air conditionings.

Everything returns. Especially in fashion you see all trends come back every now and then. Or bad hair and beard styles. Or music. Which is our podcasts own topic, as we go back for a nice space synth trip just to return with modern synthwave electronica. This is one of those episodes, where I simply had fun compiling the show, bringing back memories of good (and bad) old times. I hope you will have as much fun with the music.
