What an interesting week. Storms everywhere, although I have been lucky to date with respect to effects. At least weather wise. Same holds for the job though, where it got quite stormy this week and more strong winds are ahead. Great, if you own a sailer. Well, after some rather quite minutes on the last episode, tonight you will get a bit more speed in sound with new, current and upcoming releases.

When I was in school, history lessons where of the least interesting to me. Was it the teachers? Was it the stuff? However, nowadays history fascinates me. Especially if presented well and understandable and giving some context to why things have become as they are. One of the mysterious eras definitely is the age of the Aztecs and their world of gods. Well, actually any of the native American civilizations are fascinating and seem much more cultivated than many of those from Europe in that time.

So this is a somewhat joyful week. Also, some things don't work out, others do the better. And as I am feeling quite lucky at the moment, the music will go a bit more vibey as well. What does it mean? I don't know. Listen for yourself. In other news, the Schallwelle Award ceremonies will take place in a month. Planned as a live-in-person event. And I am back with the team, which is quite exciting. Yes, I did not advertise much, but you know anyway, don't you? Where was I, ah, yes, nice vibes in sound and sequence on tonight's edition.

Do you know the saying that a dog and its owner very often do look alike? Well, sometimes the music I choose for a show does actually match the state of my mind. Well, not quite. As the music would be even more chaotic than the one you will get on this edition. It's still turbulent enough to reflect my state of mind. It was quite an eventful week workwise and on the private side as well. And the upcoming week will be not less of a mess. On the other hand, there is beauty in chaos.

Is your area also plastered with roadworks? We have some building spots that already last for more than 3 years. And I am talking about roadworks not some airport. Soon they will lock down the main road where I live, so I have to detour about 5 minutes or so to get to my doctor appointments. Good heavens, 10 more minutes of my life time wasted on the road not doing anything. Ok, well, I waste much more time on other occasions, but that's not the point. Or is it? Am I ranting about some short detour? Well, seems I need some rest harder than I thought.

We are off into a night full of wonders this time, listening to some quite chilled and no-sweat tunes. Why? Because I felt like it. It's kind of like life which currently offers so many facets from joy to sadness, from fun to stupidity, from ignorance to love. Yeah, I am bit on a philosophical trip tonight. No wonder, as these are strange times and the world is getting crazier each day. Luckily, there always are cool guys out there producing so fantastic sounds and scapes to listen to.

Welcome to 2022. Although, this edition is rather a look back to the end of last year which left many saddened as we lost Sylvia Sommerfeld to another realm. She and her persevering work on supporting the electronic music scene will be greatly missed. This show is dedicated to her, not to spread sorrow, but to honor her and inspire anyone to follow your hearts in what you are doing as intense as she did.

How was 2021 to you? For me, it held quite a pile of surprises on its menu, negative as well as positive. While this is simply life happening, one thing stays steady with me and also acts as a kind of pillar for me: syndae. It is does act as both a compass and a vent, giving me the opportunity to reflect my emotional state as well as give something to you, whenever you like to listen and experience music from other places. Hope we will meet again, in sound at least, next year. Until then, enjoy the past being pushed out with rolling drums.

Throughout their history, people have built many traditions. One of them is being celebrated this time of year, if one follows a constituent religion. Nowadays, many people celebrate this season as well, seeing it as a family time holiday. Well, what ever your take on these days is, tonight you will get to experience music which is hopefully providing the right mood for community and being together.
