While many independent artists nowadays publish their works via their own channels, there still are labels out there, helping out when artists focus on creating music only. Many of those labels use up-to-date media for propaganda publicity and distribution, like social networks and online music stores. A special kind among them are netlabels, who usually offer music as name your price releases or for free. While this sounds like a non-business, their actual goal is to help getting music being heard. Providing a common channel for free artists to be discovered.
