• In the blink of a note

Sometimes, plans change. As did the one for tonight, as of some sad news coming in this week, which is the passing of Ronald Schmidt aka Faber. Such news do not pass one without passion, and the mood of the show did not match my own at all. But it is still a phenomenal show at that, having many great artsts and beautiful sounds to relish. Join in for some treats by Faux Tales (Ripples), Uwe Rechzeh (The Architecture of Dreams), Harald Nies (Strange Matter), Planet Boelex (Twenty), Tim Stebbing (Voyage of the Beagle), David A Jaycock (Children of The Cold War: Phase 7), Samplequence (Shatter Marbles), NoLosaï (Flying), Conny Olivetti (Dusting of the Past), Faber (Sequentium).

Episode 297

It's always interesting to see, when artists pick up traditional elements in their music, but not sticking to it by copying the old style. Adding new thoughts and re-interpreting what was laid out by masters in their domain to build upon it, advancing to a modern style and age of music. The tracks from tonights playlist will surely remind you of the past, but sound like today, welcome to the future home. Tune in and listen to Sequential Dreams (Legacy), moonbooter (Live Eins),   Rewo (Zeppelins 2.0), MarcE (Forever Together), and DigitalSimplyWorld (Planet of the Butterflies).
